Our Mission

To become the supplier of choice to Local Government in England and Wales for Network Infrastructure and Security Services. 

NetUnity will achieve this by careful design and implementation of leading-edge networking and security infrastructure, so improving and extending the services delivered by their Local Government customers. NetUnity's approach to the e-gov@local strategy is to drive functionality upwards, costs downwards and ensure the Government bodies with whom we work are able to deliver high Community and Social services to their citizens with cost-effective, innovative deigns and techniques.

Company Profile

Growing strongly from small beginnings in early 2002, NetUnity specialises in fulfilling the demands placed upon Local Government as a result of Central Government e-government strategy. Starting initially with one consultant, the company now includes three senior networking design and implementation consultants, two security experts and a staff with a full range of networking and security experience and training.

Our work with Local Government has allowed us to develop considerable experience in Administration, Library and Schools networking. In particular, our work in a wide range of schools (including special-needs environments) has sensitised us to the needs of these highly specialised environments, and we are confident we can offer an unmatched level of service and satisfaction. 

Our consultants’ mix of Industrial and Banking IT experience, proven in commercial environments, drives future-proofed, scalable designs, of true “industrial-strength”. Our networking and management skills mean we drive projects from concept to hand-over, on time and on budget!

 Work with Councils has given us unequalled insight into the operation of Local Government IT departments. As a result, our advice is frequently sought in the budgetary, operational and project-oriented issues that surround an implementation. We have completed a number of network projects to tight timescales and budgets, where we have performed design, project management and commissioning roles, leaving our customers to attend to operational matters.

 A significant challenge that we have very successfully addressed is large-scale NGfL broadband implementation. Schools and colleges have very specific networking requirements and demand careful handling. It is not simply good enough to do a competent project-management task in an Academic environment. NetUnity brings affordable, large-scale Service Provider experience, coupled with specific Academic know-how to the delivery of this vital new tool to your classrooms, resulting in timely, clean, unobtrusive installations in all categories of schools,

We have associations with a number of other important players in the Networking and Security arena, and all of our consultants are Industry-Certified. We specialise, and our consultants are accredited with such vendors as Cisco, Microsoft, and Checkpoint, and with industry bodies, such as the IC3 (through CISSP programs).
